Dragon Ball Z Kai explanation | Spotytalk

 DRAGON BALL Z KAI is a reverse version of the popular and hit anime series DRAGON BALL Z. Its produced in celebration of its 20th and 25th anniversaries. This anime series is produced  by Toei Animation dragon Ball and Z are also animated by this company. The series was originally broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV from 5th April 2009 to 27th March 2011.

DRAGON BALL Z KAI is the recreation of DRAGON BALL Z with high definition picture, sound, and special effects and recorded voice track by the original cast. In this series sketches and animation are recreated it's frame with digitally tracing that make so exciting. This reduced visible damage to the original animation to convert the 4:3 animation
to 16:9 wide-screen some shots were selectively cropped while others feature new hand drawn portions.

It's international releases for the first 98 episodes. Some countries would also air it in exclusive material that was not featured in the original manga was cut from KAI abridging the 291 episodes of Dragon Ball Z down to 167 episodes.

In November 2012 MAYUMI TANAKA blogged and ensure that she was recording new episodes that intended to air internationally but not in Japan.In April 2013 Funimation cast members were also reported to he is recording new episodes of dragon Ball Kai. 

The series would ultimately return for an additional 61 episodes in Japan and Internationally, the second part of the series was titled DRAGON BALL KAI. The Final Chapters by Toei Europe and Funimation and ran for 69 Episodes. The first DVD of DRAGON BALL KAI compilation was released in Japan on 18th Sept 2009.
